| Bright reddish sorrel color running down the hair shaft. Not so deep as mahogany red. White undercoat. Head and top of tail bright red. Eye circles, edge of nose, jowls, underside of tail, belly and inside of ears may be a slightly lighter color. Eyes brown.
Faults: Ticking that produces a frosty affect, white belly and eye circles, stray white hairs.
